Children and Adolescents
In my many years as a school councellor in primary, secondary and special needs schools, I have learned to understand the language of children, the language of play, and to establish contact and relationships using this shared language. With adolescents, play recedes into the background to make way for a relationship that grounds them. Core areas:
- School problems
- Learning- and concentration problems
- Aggressive and auto-aggressive behaviour
- Crisis interventions in case of divorce or death of an important significant other
- Eating disorders and puberty crises
Accompanying parents' and teachers' interviews teachers’ sessions are important components of the person-centered work with children and juveniles. Note: www.rez.at
